In the mature and wise age of 34, I have finally decided to move out of my parents' house and into my very own!

But being a total clueless newbie when it comes to closing house deals, I signed the contract and ended up with a house that needs a ton of repairs, and the homeowner refuses to do them, althought he ought to (and that doesn't stop him from charging a high rent, no sir!). 

So, I lie in bed pondering life's meaning, and what the heck am I doing (in this economy!), and that there are some things that need to be done within this month if this house is to be functional. Unfortunately my financial situation is not at its greatest, so this is the part where the idea of crowdfunding stepped in. This should help me make the essential repairs, and deal with the less important ones later.

So with all the shame in this world, some regret and lots of hope, I'm asking for your help so that I can do the following: 

1. Fix the busted door and yard fence bars

2. Repair the broken toilet and avoid cutting my hips

3. Repair the plumbing - water leaking in the toilet and boiler won't work

4. Get some heating in this place - it has no radiators, no air-conditioner, no stove, just walls!

5. Fix the kitchen sink, and its beautiful dent which makes the water pool and stink

6. Install a telephone line and fix the busted connections

7. If the above are covered, perhaps go the extra mile and buy a washing machine!
