Γειά σε όλους,

Όσοι με γνωρίζουν, ξέρουν ότι είμαι αεικίνητο και περιπετειώδες άτομο.  Εξού άλλωστε και το παρατσούκλι μου Adventurous Alex! Έχω δουλέψει σε διάφορες γνωστές ΜΚΟ αλλά έχω επίσης συμμετάσχει σε πολλά εθελοντικά προγράμματα στην Ασία, Λατινική Αμερική και Αφρική, καθώς πιστεύω πολύ στην βοήθεια που μπορούμε να προσφέρουμε σε τρίτους, ειδικά σε μέρη που δεν είναι όλα δεδομένα.

Πέρυσι η φανταστική ομάδα του wheeling2help ξεκίνησε ένα εθελοντικό πρόγραμμα στο απομακρυσμένο χωριό Gongo της Τανζανίας. Σε συνεργασία με την τοπική ΜΚΟ SANA, άρχισε το χτίσιμο της κουζίνας και των τουαλετών στο μοναδικό σχολείο της περιοχής που φιλοξενεί 412 παιδιά και έχει μόνο 3 δασκάλους.

Φέτος θα ολοκληρώσουμε την κατασκευή και είμαι πολύ χαρούμενος που θα λάβω και εγώ μέρος στην αποστολή. Με το πέρας του πρότζεκτ,  τα παιδιά θα έχουν πολύ καλύτερες συνθήκες υγιεινής και διαβίωσης,  βοηθώντας τα πηγαίνουν συχνότερα στο σχολείο και έτσι να έχουν ένα καλύτερο μέλλον χάρη στην εκπαίδευση που θα λάβουν και τα εφόδια που θα αποκτήσουν.

Τι θα κάνουμε;

Θα συνεχίσουμε την κατασκευή της κουζίνας και των αποχωρητήριων τού σχολείου του χωριού,  βοηθώντας με αυτό τον τρόπο στην βελτίωση της υγιεινής και ποιότητας ζωής όλων των κατοίκων του. (δες φωτό)

Πώς θα το κάνουμε;

Με πολύ προσπάθεια, χειρωνακτική εργασία αλλά και ομαδικό πνεύμα,  χρησιμοποιώντας υλικά κατασκευής που σέβονται το περιβάλλον. 

Γιατί να με υποστηρίξετε;

Αυτή η πρωτοβουλία είναι απολύτως εθελοντική. Μέσα από αυτή την πλατφόρμα οι υποστηρικτές θα μπορέσουν να "ταξιδέψουν" μαζί μου μέσα από τις φωτογραφίες και τα βίντεο που θα ανεβάζω. Έτσι θα μπορέσουν να βιώσουν έστω και από μακριά την χαρά του να προσφέρεις σε ένα μέρος που δεν είναι όλα δεδομένα και να νοιώσουν ότι έβαλαν και εκείνοι ένα μικρό λιθαράκι στην βελτίωση των συνθηκών διαβίωσης των παιδιών του χωριού.

Ως ένδειξη ευγνωμοσύνης, οι τρεις υποστηρικτές με την μεγαλύτερη συμμετοχή θα λάβουν ένα αναμνηστικό δώρο από την Τανζανία!

Adventurous Alex!

Hello everyone,

Those who know me have realised that I am a restless and adventurous person. Hence my nickname, Adventurous Alex! I have worked in reknown NGOs but also have participated in numerous voluntary projects in Asia, Latin America and Africa, since I am a firm believer that it's worth helping others, especially in places where not all facilities are available. So there is no surprise that this November I will be traveling to Tanzania for a good cause.

Last year, the amazing team of wheeling2help started a voluntary project in the remote village of Gongo in Tanzania. In collaboration with the local NGO SANA, the building of the kitchen and toilets has started in the only school of the area, with 412 students and only 3 teachers.

This year we will finish the construction and I am very pleased to participate in the mission. By the end of the project, children will have better sanitary and living conditions,  helping them to attend school more often, ensuring their education and future in life,  things that are not always readily available there.

What will we do?

We shall continue the construction of the kitchen and WC of the school of the village, thus helping to improve the health level and quality of life of its residents.

How will we do it?

With a lot of effort, labour work but also team spirit, using natural building materials which respect the environment.

Why sponsor me?

This initiative is completely voluntary. Via this platform, sponsors will be able to "travel" with me, through the photos and videos that I will be uploading. This way the sponsors will feel, even from far away, the pleasure of giving in a place where not all is provided for and the satisfaction that (s)he has also contributed to the success of this project. As a gesture of gratitude,  the three sponsors with the highest contribution will receive a souvenir gift from Tanzania.
