Christmas is all about giving; especially to children. Even more so, to babies fighting for their lives! This is the case for preterm babies.

At Spotawheel, we have embraced the vision of the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (EFCNI) “to ensure the best start in life for every baby” by actively supporting with our fundraiser effort its national partners in Greece and Poland where our current offices are located.

The EFCNI is the first pan-European organization and network to represent the interests of preterm and newborn infants and their families. It brings together parents, healthcare experts from different disciplines, and scientists with the common goal of improving long-term health of preterm and newborn children.

Spotawheel pledges to contribute to the cause and double employees’ donations up to the amount of €1000.

Every baby born before completion of 37 weeks of pregnancy is considered as preterm. Worldwide, estimated 15 million babies are born preterm annually - that means 1 baby in 10 is born premature. And the number is rising. Preterm infants represent Europe's largest child patient group, while preterm birth is one of the two leading causes for neonatal mortality.

At Spotawheel, we have embraced the vision of EFCNI by actively supporting with our voluntary fundraising effort its national partners in Greece and Poland where our current offices are located.
